Tara Babylon

Tara drew her inspiration from her main collection and wanted to really embrace utility wear, considering how seams are sewn on jeans and jackets, and use this within her construction techniques. She noticed how the most common seam used on denim and in utility clothing is the flat-felled seam and played with it in the construction of this outfit, using different widths and incorporating her own textiles and fabrics. She also bleached the denim lightly to create more of an uneven worn color, used 100% Peruvian wool to tuft “LOVE” in Arabic, the Diesel logo, and flowers which reminisce Babylon.
