Rebecca Marsden

Rebecca designed her knitted footwear prototypes considering aerial performers and athletes needing to focus on recovery to maximise their performance, by intense moments of pressure and release. She drew her inspiration from the raw energy of the sea and from the aerial body in motion. Using circular and seamless knitting technologies, she focused thoroughly on responsible design to positively impact on production, for instance knitting twin skin socks in one piece with a zero-waste system.
